Guide to Greenspoke’s Bike Repair Station Tools

Greenspoke offers various bike repair stations which can be a convenient amenity to parks, schools, downtown cores and other outdoor areas that allow cyclists to perform quick repairs while on-the-go. Our bike repair stations offer an excellent selection of the tools typically required to make minor repairs or adjustments. Keep reading below to learn more about each of the tools included in a Greenspoke bike repair station.
Greenspoke bike repair stations include the following tools:
Philips Screw Driver
The Philips screwdriver can be used on all Philips head screws, bolts and for derailleur adjustments.Flat Head Screw Driver
The Flat Head screwdriver can be used on all slot screws and bolts.Allen Wrench Combo Set: 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8 mm
The Allen Wrench combo set can be used for all hex socket screws and bolts as typically used for seat post, stem, pedals and more.Open-end, flat wrenches: 13, 14, 15 & 16 mm (Qty: 2)
The open-end, flat wrench can be used on hub bearings or for pedal adjustments.Open-end, flat wrench for head set: 30, 32, 36, & 40 mm
The open-end, flat wrench for headset can be used for head set bearing adjustments.Adjustable Wrench, 6″ long
The 6” adjustable wrench can be used for axle or seat clamp nuts.Tire Levers (Qty: 2)
Two tire levers are provided which are primarily used to repair a flat tire. The tire lever separates a tire tread from a wheel frame so that an inner tube can be accessed and potentially removed.
QR Code
In additional to these great tools, each Greenspoke bike repair station includes a QR code, which links to several helpful videos on how to use the repair station, make minor repairs and also provides an overview on the tools.
Tool Tethers
The tools on the Greenspoke bike repair station are attached using high security chain or cable which means they are much less likely to get lost, stolen or vandalized.
Braided aircraft cable which is made from high strength stainless steel coated in plastic to provide superior flexibility and dexterity for tool use.
Chain cable which is made from high security ¼” diameter cut proof steel finished with a corrosion resistant coating.
Greenspoke bike repair stations include a hanger to hold one bike while maintenance is being performed on it. If you are looking for a an air pump to allow riders to fill up their bike tires, then the Greenspoke Bike Repair Station with Pump or the Freestanding Pump are both excellent options!
